How to notify us of a Motor or Property claim

The fastest, easiest way to notify us of a motor or property claim is via our online claims form. You can submit your claim 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whenever it suits you.

It takes less than 10 minutes to complete the form, and once we receive it, one of our claims consultants will contact you, generally within 4 business hours.

Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 500 115 during our normal business hours of 8.30am to 5pm – Monday to Friday.

Notifying us of a claim

You can make a claim one of three ways:

  • By phone on 0800 500 115. You or your broker can call us during business hours to make a claim via our simple, one-step process.
  • Submit your claim online for motor and property claims - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once we receive your completed notification, one of our claims consultants will contact you within 4 business hours.
  • Send a claim to your broker. Download and complete a claim form, then send it to your Insurance Broker. They will forward your claim to us and we will inform your broker of the result of your claim.

    Emergency Assistance

    If you require after-hours emergency assistance phone 0800 800 270 to connect to Sedgwick They will be able to provide assistance for claim emergencies.

    Glass Repair

    We have a preferred customer agreement with Smith and Smith NZ for all car and building glass replacement.

    Should you have a claim involving a broken windscreen/car glass or window in your home or commercial premises, please contact Smith and Smith on 0800 80 90 80, for advice on your nearest location. Please advise them you are an Allianz customer.
